Design: The coin displays a heartwarming scene of a mother polar bear with her two young cubs in the Arctic. The massive mother sits patiently in a snowdrift, practically nose-to-nose with one cavorting cub as it stands on its hind legs, pawing at her left arm. The other cub stands in front of her on all fours, looking around at its frozen surroundings. Above the bears and to the right side of the image rises a large snowdrift topped by two snow-covered evergreen trees.

Packaging: Coin is encapsulated and presented in a Royal Canadian Mint branded maroon case lined with flock. It is protected by a custom box.
