Design: The coin showcases a stunning iconic rendering of a new Miss Canada allegory for modern day Canada. Seated on the "throne" of the Canadian Shield, Miss Canada is classically dressed, sporting a crown of maple leaves, her right hand open in a welcoming gesture, and holding a staff in her left. The landscape surrounding Miss Canada demonstrates Canada's vast mountains, a glacial river, large waterway and a wild forested shoreline. An eagle flies overhead the image of a jumping fish. The bottom of the image is decorated with a garland composed of more than 25 types of Canadian leaves. The coin is designed by Canadian artist Laurie McGaw.
Packaging: Coin is encapsulated and presented in a Royal Canadian Mint branded maroon case lined with flock. It is protected by a black sleeve.
