Description
Canada: 2018 $3 Thirteen Teachings From Grandmother Moon: Thimbleberry Moon Pure Silver Coloured Coin
Design: Algonquin artist Frank Polson has created a captivating image of a full moon filling the sky behind a tree. A thimbleberry stem appears on the left with various stages of growth: a flower, an unripe fruit, and succulent berries. A new sprout on the lower left of the stem is connected to the unripe fruit by a black line and a rounded shape of concentric rings—signature design elements in woodland art that represent the energetic relationship between "beings"—the spirit world that animates all things and preserve the sacred circle of life.
